Watch: Controversial Stoppage Brings An End To Joshua vs Takam Fight

Anthony Joshua has just beat Carlos Takam to defend his IBF and WBA (super) world titles at a packed Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

And, while the Heavyweight champion was on top throughout his bout with Carlos Takam, many people have been left frustrated by the referee's stoppage of the fight in the 10th round.

Takam valiantly battled on despite having a severe cut above his right eye for several rounds.

No matter what Joshua threw at the 36-year-old Frenchman, he couldn't put him away, and during a quick barrage of punches in round 10, the referee stepped in to bring a halt to proceedings, handing Joshua his 20th consecutive victory, extending his undefeated streak.

But few people believed the fight should have been stopped when it did, with a visibly pissed off Takam seemingly fine and able to continue, remonstrating with the official that he was OK to carry on.

Harsh stoppage, the ref seemed like he actively wanted to stop it, was only gonna be one winner but think he deserved longer #JoshuaTakam

What do you think? Was the referee right or wrong to bring an end to the fight when he did?
